Texas Holdem is by far the most common for of poker played today due to is popularity there are even several TV shows of the game. Besides being popular texas Holdem is also the best game for a beginner to learn, the game can be learned after a few minutes and afte just a few hours of practice you can be playing fairly well against other beginners, but to really get good you must play often. Texas Holdem is played the same way in the casino, online casinos and in your home with your pals. Texas Holdem is played in the following manner: 1. Betting structures can vary. In Texas Holdem rarely are antes used. Most Texas Holdem games start with first two players on the dealers left placing predetermined bets. These players are called the small and large blind, and their bets are called posting the blinds. 2. Each player receives 2 cards face down. These cards are called you pocket cards and they are the only cards that are unique to you. 3. After each player is dealt their hole cards a round of betting takes place starting with the player to the left of the 2 blinds this round of betting is called the pre-flop. Just like in any other poker game a player can call raise of fold during their turn. 4. After the Pre-Flop round is over the dealer will remove the top card from the deck and discard it, this is called the Burn Card. This is done to make sure that no cheating is done. The dealer will then turn over 3 cards in the center of the table. This round is called the Flop. Any player may use any of these cards to make the best 5 card hand possible, but you are not allowed to actually touch the cards, each player can use the same cards if it help them, this is why your hole cards are so important. 5. As with the pre-flop there is now another round of betting, it is at this point you will start to see players folding. 6. After the betting is over, the dealer will burn another card, then deal the fourth of the communal cards. This card is called the Turn card 7. Again another round of betting begins and now is when you will start to see the size of the pot really grow. 8. One last time the dealer burns the top card before turning over the last card of the game, called the River card. Players now have all 5 of the communal cards and their own hole card to make the best 5 card hand. 9. One last chance is given to raise the bets or get out of the game. After this each player still in the game will show their cards. This is called the Showdown. The player with the best hand is declared the winner and wins the pot. Now that you know the basic order of the game you are ready to start playing Texas Holdem. Holdem is a simple game to learn but if hard to master. This is the part that will take you many hand and many dollars, but if you put in the time you will be rewarded for it.

Stop work be more productive and kill computer related stress
Sorry, computer related stress (CRI) will eventually harm you if you insist on slaving away non-stop at a computer for hours without a break. To make sure you can be more productive long term, you MUST pace yourself. - For starters, you need to take a five or ten minute break from working about once every hour. Exercise, take a rest, or do something enjoyable during the break. Try and forget about the work you have been doing; fretting only contributes to muscle and mental strain. - Massaging your hands and forearms several times a day will improve circulation. You should also massage your neck muscles to relieve the tension of keeping your head in one position for any length of time. Work downwards from your head to your shoulders, pressing more firmly as you go on. You may want to rub in a small amount of good-quality hand cream or massage oil, as this will stop your skin becoming dry and sore. - Try to work in a reasonably warm place. Your muscles must work harder if they become chilled, and are more likely to feel strain easily. Also, your hands will ache and feel weak after working too long in a cold or draughty spot. - Do a few easy stress relieving exercises. Buy a stress ball - a huge variety are available off the Internet. Slowly squeeze the ball with your hand ten to fifteen times. Do this exercise frequently, as often as once every hour if you need to do a lot of computer work. Another good stress releieving exercise is to slowly spread your hands out, making your fingers spread out as widely as they can. Then, slowly curl your fingers inwards until you make a loose fist. Relax then repeat this five times each hand. Finally, let your arms dangle by your sides and gently shake them out a few seconds. This will help relieve muscle tension. - While you are working, yawns every once in a while - with some jobs, this will come naturally! This will put more oxygen into your body because doing repetitive, non-active things causes your air (oxygen) intake to drop, lowering your energy level. During your breaks, 'charge up' on oxygen by breathing deeply and smoothly but DO NOT hyperventilate. - Continual focussing at one distance (the screen) soon tires your eye muscles. So while you 're working, periodically look away from the screen every now and then and focus your eyes on varied distant objects. This will give your eyes a break from constantly focusing on one thing. Don't be pressured! If anyone queries you easing off every now and then, show them this article and ask how they want you tomorrow - well and working or off with injury, seeing a doctor? Healthy Computing 2006 and beyond!

What it takes to fix our immigration system
There is a consensus in the United States today that our immigration system is broken. The question is "What is required to fix it?" It is clear that more of the same will not work. There are an estimated 11 million undocumented persons living and working in the United States today. Smugglers, traffickers and criminals preying on undocumented migrants have a growing negative impact on border communities. Nearly 2,000 migrants have died trying to cross our border from the south from 1998 through 2003, and nearly 400 migrants continue to die at our borders every year. America needs comprehensive immigration reform that will make immigration safe, orderly and legal. Such reform must provide three things: * an opportunity for people already living and working here to earn permanent legal status; * a new temporary worker program with adequate labor protections, so that essential workers can enter the U. S. safely, legally and expeditiously; * backlog reductions in family-based immigration so that families can unite in a timely way. Proposals that fail to embrace these components and seek only to increase enforcement of the current system will only exacerbate current problems. Congress may enact harsh enforcement measures, such as the Sensenbrenner bill passed in the House of Representatives, which do nothing to increase our nation's security. Such measures only increase the pressures on hardworking but undocumented immigrants and force them to seek dangerous paths of entry to the U. S., where increasing numbers will die attempting to cross. Or Congress can engage the debate and enact realistic and comprehensive reform, which will ensure the U. S. remains a nation of immigrants in the decades to come. Deborah Notkin is president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. - NU
